What would you Swap for a Cruise? - Part 2!

Back in March Kefalonia Cruise encountered Lester Hughes , an amazing man from Wales who wouldn't sell us his vending machine! Instead he wanted to exchange his item (part of his Swop my Fat project). What could we offer him? How about a private cruise for two!?! He was delighted and immediately announced what he had in his possession in order to keep his project going. And so the question 'What would you swap for a private cruise for two?' was born! A month or so later and after some very strange proposals, Lester announced the lucky winner to be Debra Harrison. Wanting to share the experience with her sister Lisa and her partner Robert as well as her husband Michael, Debra exchanged her cruise for a BBQ Cruise for 4! Read Debra's story!

Brits in Kefalonia - Importing a Car

Finally Nicos & Eleni are moving to Kefalonia to be with the Lady O family all year round! It certainly has taken a lot of organising. One of the major milestones was how to bring the car and keep it in Greece without it costing a small fortune. When trying to find out, no two answers were the same and Nicos felt like he was going round and round in circles! But he did it!

Come to Kefalonia

Here we are in July already! I originally wrote this blog at the start of the year (Happy New Year!) but it didn't feel right to publish it then. We personally (like many) knew of several people who were hospitalised with Covid, and sadly some of them didn't make it. It was all a little bit 'too close to home' as they say. We knew of people who couldn't work and were scraping the barrel and someone who was made homeless in the process. Tough times for so many. We thanked the angels everyday for our health and home. With so much uncertainty about the future for so many, talking about holiday's felt a little bit insensitive. I'm not sure it's the right time now to be honest, but with Covid travel rules changing on the 19th July now is as good a time as any!
